Chalkboard Sign

Fun easy project for special events or to organize in your home, ect. Lots of uses and easy to make at home!

Supplies:

  • Solid oak paneling ( quarter inch)
  • Chalkboard spraypaint
  • Jigsaw
  • Sandpaper 120 grit
  • Drill
  • Chalk
  • Pencil
  • Twine, ribbon or rope

photoTrace the outline of the shape you want to make in pencil around the edges. Use a jigsaw to cut out the sides for shape and design. Drill two holes for the twine to run through. the other option if you don’t want to hand the sign is to leave as is with the holes. Spray paint with chalkboard spray paint, let dry.  Wrap twine through the holes and hang! See it’s easy and works well for labeling items on a buffet, greeting your guests when they enter, or giving directions.
